Goshamahal MLA and BJP leader T Raja Singh today lashed out at Telangana industries minister K T Rama Rao.
He said that the minister was randomly talking about the rise in petrol and diesel prices in response to a tweet by him (Singh) urging the former to tour areas of the Old City of Hyderabad.
He said that KTR was evasively talking about something completely different in response to an issue raised by him, and had also responded 6 days later.
(Singh's original tweet had asked KTR to tour the old city areas on a bike along with him.)
However, Singh responded to the tweet of KTR and said that petrol would be sold for Rs. 70 per litre if the state government reduced the Rs. 41 of tax imposed by it on the commodity.
He also mocked KTR saying that the minister spent all his time on his Twitter account, and was quite likely unaware of the factors impacting the petrol and diesel prices, and advised the minister to find out the reasons behind the increase in the prices from his father and the CM K Chandrashekar Rao, who had worked as a union minister earlier.
