Power Crisis Here To Stay: JP Narayan
"The power crisis will only worsen in the days to come, if this situation continues," Lok Satta president Jayaprakash Narayan said at the State Legislative Assembly.
"The power crisis will only worsen in the days to come, if the situation continues unchecked," Lok Satta leader Jayaprakash Narayan said at the State Legislative Assembly.
"Though the government has spent thousands of crores of rupees in the employment guarantee scheme, it could not improve the water table by an inch," he chided, going on to suggest, "There is every need to separate the feeders for farmers, and fix separate meters for them. This will enable the smooth functioning of the power distribution."
He expressed displeasure at the futility of a discussion during the session, and that all the time was wasted with allegations and counter-allegations. (INN)
