After prohibition and excise Minister Mopidevi Venkata Ramana, it is now the turn of information technology minister Ponnala Lakshmaiah to face the CBI's questioning, on Thursday at Dilkusha Guest house, in connection with Jaganmohan Reddy's disproportionate assets case.
The investigation agency is likely to question Ponnala Lakshmaiah over the controversial GOs issued during 2004-09, when he was the major irrigation minister in YSR's cabinet.
The GOs pertained to the supply of water from the river Krishna to some cement firms, which, in turn, made investments in companies floated by Jagan.
Meanwhile, Ponnala Lakshmaiah met Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy at his camp office on Wednesday, and discussed the issue of the CBI questioning.
Earlier, Ponnala denied that he had done anything wrong or violated the guidelines of the Water Tribunal while allocating water to the cement firms. (INN)
