Police Detain Revanth Reddy Ahead Of March Of Unemployed

Keeping in view the march by unemployed youth planned by the Osmania Students' JAC today, the police today arrested TPCC president Revanth Reddy.

Keeping in view the march by unemployed youth planned by the Osmania Students' JAC today, the city police today arrested TPCC president Revanth Reddy and other Congress leaders in order to prevent them from attending the program.

Reddy had announced that he would not only take part in the march, but also express his solidarity with the OU JAC.

The police kept consequently kept him and other Congress leaders under house arrest.

They also barricaded the entire road leading to his residence, and allowed even the people residing near his house only after checking their ID cards.

Among the other Congress leaders who were detained by the police were Anjan Kumar Yadav, Addanki Dayakar, E Anil Kumar and S Sudheer Reddy.

The OU JAC had given the call for the march due to the events that took place in the State following the TSPSC question paper leak.
