The maximum temperature recorded in the past 24 hours was 34.0 degrees Celsius, and the minimum temperature was 21.6 degrees Celsius.
The Met office said the maximum and minimum temperatures will be around 32 and 22 degrees celsius respectively in the next 48 hours, and added that rain or thundershowers may occur in parts of city.
The Met office added that rain or thundershowers may occur at most places over coastal Karnataka and Kerala, at many places over coastal Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Lakshadweep and interior Karnataka, and at a few places over Rayalaseema, Tamil Nadu and Pondicherry.
The rainfall recorded in the state was 13cm each in Parkal (Warangal district) and Nizamsagar (Nizamabad district), 12cm in Mulugu (Warangal district), 10cm each in Mahabubnagar, Hanamakonda and Siddapur (Gulbarga district), 9cm each in Medak, Vikarabad (Ranga Reddy district), Kaikalur (Krishna district), Chincholi, Sedam (both Gulbarga district) and Kakkeri (Yadgir district), 8cm each in Tanuku (West Godavari district), Kaleswaram (Karimnagar district) and Khammam, and 7cm each in Prakasam Barrage (Krishna district), Salur (Vizianagaram district), Narayanakhed (Medak district), Tandur (Ranga Reddy district), Jangaon (Warangal district) and Karwar.
Mahabubabad and Narsampet (both Warangal district), Bodhan (Nizamabad district) and Kodangal (Mahabubnagar district) recorded 6cm of rainfall each, and Paleru Bridge (Krishna district), Pargi (Ranga Reddy district), Mancherial (Adilabad district), Karimnagar and Ramayampet (Medak district), and Mantralayam (Kurnool district) recorded 5cm each.(INN)
