As a mark of his extreme displeasure in the continuance N Kiran Kumar Reddy as the Chief Minister of Andhra pradesh, five-time Congress MLA from Punganur, Peddireddi Ramachandra Reddy handed in his resignation from the House to the Assembly Speaker Nadendla Manohar on Thursday.
Peddireddi, who had given the Congress high command till 29 November to make Kiran Kumar step down from the CM's post, is known to be vocally critical of the current CM. True to his word, Peddireddi resigned as an MLA due to no foreseeable change in the status quo. However, he still remains a member of the Congress party.
