Patancheruvu MLA Mahipal Reddy Tests Positive For Covid-19

The MLA had been actively participating in some development programs, and started to show symptoms.

Adding to the list of several leaders, doctors, policemen and top officials testing positive for the coronavirus in Telangana, Mahipal Reddy, MLA of the Patancheruvu constituency and a TRS leader, tested positive for the virus today.

According to reports, the MLA had been actively participating in some development programs, and started to show symptoms. Doctors conducted a Covid test on him and found him infected.

He is being treated and regularly monitored.

So far one minister, 7 MLAs and two mayors of Telangana have tested positive for the highly contagious virus. Almost all of them have recovered.

Home Minister Mahmood Ali, Deputy Speaker Padma Rao Goud and Whip Sunitha are among those who tested positive.
