As many as 42,42,244 domestic consumers in the state are using more than 6 LPG cylinders in a year.
In his reply to a question raised by MLA D Anasuya and others in the Legislative Assembly during Question Hour on Tuesday, Civil Supplies minister D Sridhar Babu said that instead of capping of 6 LPG refills per year by the government of India, it was decided initially to supply 3 LPG refills over and above 6 refills to the Deepam connection holders.
