AICC General Secretary Digvijay Singh on Thursday admitted that he was in relationship with TV anchor Amrita Rai, a senior anchor in Rajya Sabha TV.
Speaking to media persons at Gandhi Bhavan in Hyderabad, Singh said that he had no problems in admitting his relationship with Amrita Rai.
He said that Rai and her husband Anand Pradhan had filed a mutual divorce petition, and that Rai and he (Singh) would take the matter forward after the completion of the divorce process.
Singh stated that he had nothing to hide or fear. He said that he was not like Narendra Modi who had kept his marriage a secret for more than 20 years.
However, he said that his relationship was a personal matter, and that no one had the right to interfere in his personal life. (INN)
