None Can Beat Naidu in Cheating People: AP Congress

Participating in a conference held on "Special Status To AP", APCC chief Raghuveera Reddy charged Naidu with betraying AP's people in all aspects.
Hyderabad | 25th May 2015
AP Congress Committee chief N Raghuveera Reddy lashed out at Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu alleging that nobody would be able to beat the latter in deceiving the people.

Participating in a conference held on "Special Status To AP" on Monday organized by a students JAC, Reddy charged Naidu with betraying the people in all aspects forgetting the assurances given by him during the elections.

In a open letter addressed to Naidu, he suggested to the TDP to conduct a "Dagaanadu" instead of a "Mahanadu", and discuss in the "Dagaanadu" how Naidu had deceived TDP founder president NTR and NTR's untimely death.

He recollected that former MP Daggubati Venkateshwara Rao had written a book named "Oka Charitra - Konni Nizaalu" on how Naidu had deceived Nandamuri Harikrishna and others, too.

Reddy spoke about how Naidu had made Junior NTR roam every village during the 2004 elections but now kept the latter away to promote his son Lokesh.

"One has to give a 'briefcase' to Naidu and a 'suitcase' to Chinna Babu (Lokesh) to get any government work done. This briefcase and suitcase government is running in Andhra Pradesh," he alleged.

Naidu had also deceived farmers and women, Reddy claimed. And the TDP chief, who had earlier declared that he had committed a mistake by entering into alliance with the BJP, once again entered an alliance with the same party, and this was nothing but political prostitution, Reddy lampooned.

Former PCC president Botsa Satyanarayana demanded that Naidu make a resolution on Special Status for AP in the ensuing Mahanadu and mount pressure on the Centre. The TDP government needed to fix a deadline to the Centre in regard to Special Status for AP, he said, and for good measure, alleged that the Naidu government had failed in all aspects in its one year rule.

Participating in the conference, YSR Congress MLA Chevireddy Bhaskar Reddy opined that the Andhra Pradesh government needed to mount pressure on the Centre for Special Status. He demanded that the state government recall the Telugu Desam union ministers to mount pressure on the Centre towards this end. (NSS)
