No Question Of Replacing Kiran Kumar As CM

Union Minister for Overseas Affairs and Congress Observer to the State G Vayalar Ravi on Tuesday denied media reports that indicated the possible removal of N Kiran Kumar Reddy from the Chief Minister's post.

Talking to reporters here, Vayalar Ravi described the reports as mere speculation by the media and said that the Congress High Command never discussed the issue. He said that Kiran Kumar Reddy's performance has been satisfactory and therefore, the question of replacing him does not arise.

Regarding the Telangana issue, Vayalar Ravi reiterated that Congress President Sonia Gandhi would take a final decision on the issue. However, he said that several leaders from the Telangana region have been meeting Central leaders to share their opinion on the issue. (INN)
