No Prejudice In MLC Candidate Selection: Naidu

TDP leader N Chandrababu Naidu today said that social justice is the motto of the party, and that some persons may be disappointed in the exercise.

"The three names were finalised keeping in mind various equations, including social, economic and other aspects. Y Ramakrishnudu, Samanthakamani and M A Salim had fit into the slots that could give social justice," clarified Naidu.

"There are many people who worked for the party and many poor people. It is understandable for Dadi Veerabhadra Rao to be disappointed, and any one in his place would feel the same way." he said.

However, the selection of candidates was done without any prejudice, he added. (INN)
