The Board Of Intermediate Education informed all the principals, lecturers and students of Intermediate colleges that there is a revision of syllabi and textbooks of the second languages (Telugu, Hindi, Urdu, Sanskrit, Arabic, French, Oriya, Kannada and Marathi) under Part-II for the first year Intermediate course, from the academic year 2013-14. The new text books for these subjects are available in the market.
It has also been informed that students opting for Sanskrit and Arabic as their second languages, under Part-II, will have to write the examination in 100% Devanagari script for Sanskrit and 100% Arabic script for Arabic, from the next Intermediate Public Examinations, in March 2014. (INN)
