The Board of Intermediate Education on Tuesday said that the last date for late admissions into the state's junior colleges (of the following categories: Government, Private, Aided, Private Unaided, Co-operative, A.P. Residential, A.P. Social Welfare Residential, A.P. Tribal Welfare Residential and Incentive Junior Colleges) and Composite Degree Colleges has been extended to August 31.
The principals of all these colleges have been requested to allow late admissions depending on the vacancies and sanctioned strength. They should duly obtain a DD/challan of Rs. 200 from each candidate, drawn in favour of the Secretary, BIE, A.P., Hyderabad and, payable at Hyderabad towards late fee / condonation fee.
They have also been asked to submit a consolidated list along with DDs/challans to the BIE within three days after closure of the late admissions, to the Regional Inspection Officers in the districts concerned. (INN)
