YSR Congress Party MP Vijayasai Reddy today met Motkupalli Narasimhulu, who was expelled from the TDP recently for allegedly revolting against the party leadership.
The meeting of Reddy, an important leader in the YSRCP, with the TDP rebel assumes significance, and fuels speculation that efforts are on to get Motkupalli to join the YSR Congress.
Reddy could not meet Motkupalli on June 11 when he went to the latter's residence - he had to return without meeting the leader after seeing a large posse of media persons gathered in front of Motkupalli's residence. However, Reddy met Motkupalli today at his residence, and they are reported to have discussed the present political situation.
Motkupalli on Wednesday met his sympathisers and supporters at Aleru and discussed with them his future course of action and political life. After the meeting, Motkupalli again strongly criticized Chandrababu Naidu alleging that the latter had turned Andhra Pradesh into "Avineethi Pradesh".
