BJP senior leader Bandaru Dattatreyya has claimed that the minorities in Gujarat have voted for Narendra Modi in the Assembly elections whose results were declared on Thursday.
Talking to media persons, Dattatreyya said that BJP candidates have won 29 out of 38 constituencies which were dominated by the minorities. These results clearly prove that Muslims and other minorities have voted for Narendra Modi. He said that instead of falling prey to the vote bank politics of the Congress party, the minorities in Gujarat have supported Modi's pro-development initiatives.
Dattareyya said that Modi's victory has cleared the BJP's way to capture power in Delhi in 2014 elections. He said that the party would spread Modi's message across Andhra Pradesh and it would show a better performance during next elections. (INN)
