TDP floor leader Singireddy Srinivas Reddy said that the 5-year rule of the MIM-Congress combine on the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) was full of failures.
Speaking to media persons, Singireni said that the GHMC had failed maintain roads or take up cleaning of the nalas in its limits.
The lifting of garbage was not done properly, which led to a rise in the mosquito menace in the city, he alleged.
He added that the GHMC had completely ignored the spread of viral diseases in the city.
No libraries were constructed in the GHMC limits, neither was the beautification of graveyards/shamshans taken up.
Singireni said that the Ward Committees existed only in name, and that no office or furniture was provided to them.
He said that the five-year rule of the MIM-Congress combine in the GHMC was full of disappointments. (INN)
