TDP MLA Manchireddy Kishan Reddy held Seemandhra leaders responsible for the present political situation in the state.
Participating in the debate on the State Reorganisation Bill in the state Legislative Assembly on Friday, Mancireddy said that the people of Telangana have been facing injustice in getting their due share in water, education, jobs and other sectors. Further, he said that there was no social justice for the people of Telangana due to the continued domination of Seemandhra people.
Manchireddy said that while Seemandhra leaders developed agriculture in the Andhra region, drought was a perennial feature in several districts of Telangana. "The region witnessed no progress in the process of industrialisation," he added.
He also alleged that there were several irregularities in the implementation of the Indiramma Housing scheme in Ranga Reddy district.
The TDP MLA also announced that he is in favour of the Telangana Bill. (INN)
