KTR Wants Boeing, HP Units In Hyderabad

Telangana IT Minister K Taraka Rama Rao, who is on a US tour, called on Boeing and HP leaders and invited them to make investments in Telangana.

Telangana Information Technology Minister K Taraka Rama Rao, who is on a US tour, called on Boeing International president Marc Allen and invited him to make investments in Telangana.

KTR informed him that the Telangana government was keen to promote investments into the aircraft and defence manufacturing sectors.

Responding to his invitation, Allen assured that he would send a delegation of his company to Telangana to explore the possibilities of investment.

KTR also met HP Printers' Vice-President Suparna Banerji and urged her to set up a HP unit in Hyderabad.

He also apprised her of the Telangana government's new industrial policy. (INN)
