KTR Calls On Chilkur Temple Priest C S Rangarajan
The BRS leader condemned the attack, calling it an insult to God, as the priest had dedicated himself to the divine service.

BRS working president K T Rama Rao today said that the attack on Chilkur Balaji Temple chief priest C S Rangarajan was a testament to the deteriorating law and order situation in Telangana.
Speaking during his visit to Rangarajan, KTR condemned the attack, calling it an insult to God as the priest had dedicated himself to the divine service.
He also said that insulting Rangarajan's family was equivalent to insulting lakhs of devotees.
"The law and order situation in Telangana is alarming, as evidenced by this attack on the priest. It was a despicable and cowardly act. The State government must take strong action to restore order," he said.
KTR said that strict measures were needed to prevent such incidents in the future, and called for security to be provided to Rangarajan's family, which had a vast following worldwide.
He also demanded severe punishment for the attackers, and said that the BRS would fully support Rangarajan and his family.
KTR was accompanied by former ministers Sabitha Indra Reddy and V Srinivas Goud, MLC Naveen Kumar Reddy, MLA Padi Kaushik Reddy, former MLAs Metuku Anand and Balka Suman, as well as BRS leaders R S Praveen Kumar and Patlolla Karthik Reddy, and other party members.
