Kodandaram Cancels Visit To Delhi

With the deadline for the announcement on Telangana nearing, political parties have stepped up their activities.

Telangana JAC leader Prof Kodandaram, however, has cancelled his Delhi tour as the UPA leaders are not available, and are preoccupied with the Jaipur conference.

Instead of the 27 January public meeting, the JAC will hold a dharna on that day to mount pressure on the Centre. The details of the deeksha will be worked out soon, he said. On the eve of the Jaipur conference of Congress, i. e. on 17 January, TJAC is likely to hold a dharna, he added.

On the other hand, Seemandhra leaders are planning to make their point clear to the High Command after the Sankranti festival. (INN)
