The last Chief Minister of united Andhra Pradesh, N Kiran Kumar Reddy, is likely to join the Bharatiya Janata Party soon.
Speculation of Kiran joining the BJP were back in the political circles on Monday.
According to sources, the BJP is eyeing the Reddy vote bank in both Telangana and Andhra Pradesh by inducting Kiran Kumar Reddy into the Party
The BJP is planning to make him a member of the Rajya Sabha before giving him a berth in the Union Cabinet.
Although these speculations have been doing the rounds since the formation of Telangana in June this year, they gained momentum in the last two days after some senior BJP leaders called on the former Chief Minister to discuss his joining the Party.
Sources say that Kiran Kumar Reddy, in principle, has agreed to join the Party. (INN)
