Kidney Donor Files Complaint Against Actor Balaji

A junior artist lodged a complaint with the Jubilee Hills police today alleging that TV actor Balaji had deceived her after she had sold her kidney to him.

According to Jubilee Hills Police Inspector Chandrasekhar, both of Balaji's wife Krishnaveni's kidneys were not functioning, and Balaji then approached one Bagya Lakshmi, 37, a junior artist and a resident of Yadagiri Nagar near Yousufguda, for a kidney.

Bagya Lakshmi agreed to sell one of her kidneys for Rs. 20 lakhs, and after getting an advance of Rs. 3 lakhs, gave a kidney to Krishnaveni in June 2017.

Lakshmi alleged that when she started asking Balaji for the remaining money after that, he started disconnecting her calls, and eventually even abusing her.

Upon being called, Balaji came to the police station, and showed all the agreement papers and bank account transactions. The inspector then informed Balaji that they would examine the documents and decide whether to file a case or not after taking legal advice.
