After a gap of one year, Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao will visit the Raj Bhavan, the official residence of the Governor, on Sunday to attend the swearing-in ceremony of Justice Alok Aradhe as the Chief Justice of the Telangana High Court.
The Chief Minister last visited the Raj Bhavan in June last year to attend the swearing-in ceremony of Justice Ujjal Bhuyan as the Chief Justice of the Telangana High Court. Since then, he hasn't entered the Raj Bhavan.
The relations between Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan and the ruling Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) government have been cold and kept deteriorating for many months with both sides making allegations against each other.
While the Governor has accused the State government of not respecting her office and violating protocols whenever she visited any part of Telangana, the State government has alleged that the Governor was behaving like a BJP leader.
During the recent visit of President Droupadi Murmu to Hyderabad, Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao and Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan were seen together at the Hakimpet Air Field to receive the former.
