Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao expressed confidence that he would be able to mobilise investments for Telangana during his visit to Singapore starting Tuesday night.
Replying to a query on the first ever foreign trip in his life, KCR said he would be marketing Telangana in Singapore, where he would be attending the conference of the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Alumni Association.
He will be accompanied by Finance Minister Etela Rajender and other senior officials.
He said that Singapore Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong and other dignitaries were also attending the conference, scheduled to be held on August 22nd and 23rd.
It may be mentioned that KCR has never visited any foreign country in his life. In fact, he did not even have a passport till he become the Chief Minister. He got his passport only a week ago. (INN)
