KCR Inspects Ravindra Bharathi, Suggests Improvements
The Telangana CM discussed with the officials the actions to be taken to put the cultural events venue, which was in the heart of the city, to better use.

Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao today visited Ravindra Bharathi, the cultural events venue in Lakdi-ka-Pul.
He went around the premises, and examined the block where the Cultural Affairs department was functioning.
The Chief Minister then discussed with the officials the actions to be taken to put Ravindra Bharathi, which was in the heart of the city, to better use. He said that there was a need to expand the parking lots and the green lawns. He also wanted the Telangana Sahitya Academy to operate from Ravindra Bharathi, and suggested better coordination between the academy and the Cultural Affairs department.
The Chief Minister also asked the officials to prepare an action plan and make the necessary arrangements for the Telangana World Telugu Conference to be held in October this year. He wanted suggestions to be given to the government of action to be initiated to protect the Telugu language and preserve its greatness.
The Chief Minister then released a compilation of poems by Telangana poets with villages as the theme, "Talliveru".
