» Kadapa By-Elections: Chandrababu Naidu Slams Jagan In Campaign
Jagan Only Wants To Be CM: Naidu
TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu alleged that Y S Jaganmohan Reddy cared for nothing but the power that comes with the CM seat, while addressing a gathering in Kadapa.
N Chandrababu Naidu, the President of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP), addressed a large gathering of supporters in Kadapa today, as a part of the party's campaign for the Kadapa Lok Sabha seat.
He told the public that they must teach Y S Jaganmohan Reddy a lesson by voting for the TDP representative M V Mysoora Reddy, instead of Jagan.
"Jagan quit from the Congress and set up a party of his own because the Congress did not give him the CM seat," said Naidu. He stated that Jagan cared for nothing but the power that the CM position would give him.
Jagan had not achieved anything for the people since entering the world of politics, and there was no sign that would fight for the people in the future, Naidu alleged.
Naidu also demanded that the government seize Jagan's illegally amassed wealth.
A resident of Kadapa who was among those gathered to listen to Naidu's speech asked Naidu to fight for the scrapping of GO 144, which he said inflicted major blows upon their chances of development.
GO 144, issued on 15th July 2008, is seen as an impediment for the development of the Budaga Jangam community in the Seemandhra region.
