KTR Urges Private Schools Not To Charge Heavy Fees

Telangana minister K T Rama Rao today urged the managements of private schools to adopt self-control and refrain from charging heavy fees.

IT Minister K T Rama Rao today inaugurated the Kirose Global School at Chitrapuri Colony in Khajaguda.

Transport Minister P Mahender Reddy, MP Konda Vishweshwar Reddy, MLA Prakash Goud, MLCs Karne Prabhakar and Shambipur Raju, and GHMC Mayor B Ram Mohan also participated in the event.

Speaking on the occasion, KTR urged the managements of private schools to adopt self-control and refrain from charging heavy fees.

He said that education should not be commercialized.

He said that the state government had set up 500 gurukul schools across the state to provide quality education to children at very low cost. He also said that children required digital education along with regular education, and that the gurukul schools catered to this, too.

He reiterated that the state government had been striving to provide adequate infrastructure to government schools, and that Deputy Chief Minister Kadiam Srihari had been striving to strengthen education in government schools following the directions of Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao.
