Former minister T Jeevan Reddy on Saturday condemned the Telugu Desam Party for moving a privilege motion against AICC General Secretary Digvijay Singh.
Speaking to media persons here, Jeevan Reddy said that every individual has a constitutional right to express his views.
"And so, Digvijay Singh expressed his views over the Telangana Bill during his visit to Hyderabad," Jeevan Reddy stated.
He added that the TDP leaders are targetting Digvijay Singh only to stall the Telangana Bill in the Assembly.
Jeevan Reddy said that Digvijay Singh came to Hyderabad to end the stalemate between the leaders of Telangana and Seemandhra regions.
"However, his visit angered the TDP which was hoping to gain from those differences," he alleged.
He also said that TDP president N Chandrababu Naidu "has no moral right to speak about differences within the Congress party" and should first focus on his own party affairs. (INN)
