The Jubilee Hills Traffic Police on Sunday night stopped Congress Legislature Party (CLP) leader K Jana Reddy's vehicle during a drunk driving check.
Upon seeing the CLP leader in the vehicle, the cops let the driver go without testing him. However Reddy asked the Traffic Police to test his driver.
The police agreed and checked the driver, and confirmed that he was clean enough. The police also thanked Reddy for cooperating with them in testing his driver.
Later, however, Reddy reportedly expressed disappointment at the traffic cops' behaviour for stopping his car though his vehicle had a VIP beacon over it.
