Kadapa Member of Parliament Y S Jaganmohan Reddy on Tuesday paid homage at the samadhi of his father, former chief minister late Y S Rajasekhara Reddy, at YSR Ghat in Idupulapaya on Tuesday.
After his floral tributes, Jagan Reddy left for Pulivendula, his late father's constituency.
The media focus has shifted back on the Kadapa MP as he remained defiant to the high command's directive and said that he would go ahead with the Odarpu Yatra from July 8 in Srikakulam district.
The Odarpu Yatra is aimed at consoling the families of those persons who committed suicide or died of shock on hearing the news of the death of former chief minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy.
A large number of the Kadapa MP's supporters were present at Idupulapaya during his visit to the spot. Apart from his supporters, Koduru MLA Srinivasulu, MLA Kumalamma, Amarnath Reddy, Kadapa district DCC chief Suresh Babu, and MLC Padmavati offered floral tributes to YSR's samadhi.
