Union minister of State J D Seelam faced the ire of Samaikyandhra supporters at Hanuman Junction in Vijayawada on Friday.

The minister reached Vijayawada by train, and was moving towards Eluru to attend an official function. As the minister's convoy passed Hanuman Junction, several united Andhra Pradesh supporters tried to obstruct his vehicle. However, police prevented the activists from blocking the convoy. Some activists even threw brooms at the minister's convoy. (INN)
