BJP MLA Dr. Nagam Janardhan Reddy, on Tuesday, demanded that the Congress-led UPA government introduce the Telangana Bill in Parliament without further delay.
Talking to reporters, Nagam said that the Centre should not delay the process of Telangana formation in the name of consultations through the A K Antony Committee and other panels.
He said that the Centre should have prepared a cabinet note to get the Union cabinet's nod for granting statehood to the Telangana region.
Nagam also slammed TDP president N Chandrababu Naidu for stalling the formation of Telangana while his party had openly supported the demand earlier. (INN)
