Hyderabad Police Commissioner Calls For Plasma Donations

Cyberabad Police Commissioner V C Sajjanar called upon the survivors of Covid-19 to donate their plasma to help the others infected by the virus recover.
Hyderabad | 18th July 2020
Cyberabad Police Commissioner V C Sajjanar today called upon the survivors of Covid-19 to come forward and donate their plasma to help the others infected by the virus recover from it.

He said that 500 ml of plasma could save the life of two persons, and given that the impact of the virus was going up in the state, and more and more people were increasingly joining hospitals, plasma donations could make a serious difference.

He said that several police personnel had recovered completely from the virus, and that some of the affected police had voluntarily come forward to donate their plasma and had saved the lives of three patients with their plasma.

Such persons who intended to donate plasma should contact the Cyberabad Covid Control Room on 9490617440, Sajjanar said. Donors would be picked up at their locations and dropped back at their homes after the donations, he said.
