Abdul Wasey, who lost a leg during the 2007 Mecca Masjid blasts and has now broken his back during the Dilsukhnagar bombing, is being interrogated by the police for alleged involvement in both incidents.
25-year-old Abdul Wasey, a resident of Old City, Hyderabad, is one of the victims of the terror attack on Hyderabad two days ago. What is remarkable about this is that Abdul Wajid is also a survivor of the 2007 Mecca Masjid blasts.
Abdul, who has lost a leg in the 2007 bomb blasts, has reportedly been injured even more severely during the twin blasts at Dilsukhnagar on the 21st that killed 16 and left 119 injured.
The police reportedly suspect Abdul Wajid's involvement in the blasts as they find his presence during the Dilsukhnagar blasts and the 2007 Mecca Masjid blasts highly suspiscious. Wajid, however, disclaimed all allegations upon being questioned, and said that he had only gone to Dilsukhnagar for a cup of tea.
Wajid's father reiterated that his son is innocent, and said that the police are welcome to conduct all the interrogations they want.
