The Hyderabad High Court on Saturday directed the APSRTC employees to end their three-day long strike and resume duties immediately. (APSRTC has not been bifurcated yet.)
Responding to a House Motion Petition filed by TDP leader C L Venkat Rao, the High Court said that it was improper on the part of APSRTC staff to go on strike, and directed the employees of both Telangana and Andhra Pradesh to resume duties immediately.
The court adjourned the next hearing in the case to May 12.
Meanwhile, the RTC employees unions have refused to react to the High Court's direction, and said they would respond only after getting a copy of the order. (INN)
