The Hyderabad High Court today adjourned a case filed against the Union government challenging the demonetization of Rs. 1,000 and Rs. 500 currency notes to November 16.
The Court on Tuesday said that several petitions were filed on the same issue and all of them would be taken up for hearing at a single go.
For those who came in late, advocate P V Krishnaiah had filed a petition last Tuesday challenging the ban of Rs. 1,000 and Rs. 500 currency bills.
In his petition, Krishnaiah had alleged that the common man was facing a lot of inconvenience with the demonetization of big notes.
