The CM stated that 5 lakh jobs would be created through government schemes every year by way of training unemployed youth.

Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy on Sunday stated that 5 lakh jobs would be created through government schemes every year by way of training unemployed youth.
The CM was addressing a gathering after distributing Loan Eligibility Cards to tenant farmers at a Rythu Saghu program in Nellore.
"In the next 3 years, 15 lakh jobs would be provided through training programs to unemployed youth across the state," he stated.
Kiran Kumar Reddy reiterated that his government was committed to implement all programs made in the election manifesto, besides giving priority to women, backward classes and minorities.
He also promised to set up a government medical college in Nellore district.
Stating that the government would introduce new schemes for every 2 months, Kiran Kumar Reddy said the state government is introducing these schemes following the advice of Congress president Sonia Gandhi.
Kiran Kumar Reddy said former chief minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy had introduced 52 welfare schemes for the benefit of the poor and backward classes.
The Chief Minister said that as part of the government's efforts towards eradicating corruption at all levels, all certificates will be issued through E-Seva centres beginning some time in the next 3 months.
He said the project would be introduced on a pilot basis in Krishna, Khammam and Chittoor districts for the first 3 months.
Based on the response, the project would be extended to other districts in the state, he said.
Kiran Kumar Reddy also promised to construct a residential school for fishermen community in the district.
Besides, the government would irrigate 10 lakh hectares of SC/ST lands with an allotment of Rs. 1,600 crore. Plans have been prepared to bring 10 lakh hectares under irrigation, he stated.
Responding to the issue of classification of Scheduled Castes, the Chief Minister said the state would hold discussions with Centre on the issue soon.
The CM stated that after discussions are done with, the Assembly would pass a resolution in the House on the classification of SCs and send it to the Centre for approval.
The Chief Minister also laid a foundation stone to a building constructed at a cost of Rs. 10 crore, in Vikramasimhapuri University campus (Kakuturu, Venkatachalam mandal).
Kiran Kumar Reddy also expressed confidence that with all the schemes launched by the Congress since it came back to power in 2004, the party's position would be strengthened in the forthcoming years. (INN)
