BRS working president K T Rama Rao today expressed displeasure over the State government's "negligent approach" to establishing paddy procurement centres.
He raised concerns about whether the farmers of the State would be deceived once again, ahead of the Diwali festival when everyone else would be celebrating.
KTR alleged that grains had been sitting at the procurement centres for days, and criticized the government for not sending instructions to purchase them.
"Why is the focus on politics not matched by attention to paddy purchases? Why are farmers being neglected by this government? Are farmers being deceived into believing your empty promises? Are they mere innocents who have no recourse but to beg?" he asked.
KTR urged the government to refrain from engaging in "monstrous games" in politics, emphasizing that the focus should be on assisting farmers. "Please don't politicize the plight of the farmers," he tweeted.
