Goat Thieves Kill Man In Shamshabad

Goat thieves in an Innova murdered a man at Shamshabad this morning while trying to escape.

Mallesh, the owner of the goats, realised what was happening and flung himself in the way of the Innova. Unheeding, the driver, Aijaz, ran over Mallesh, who was dragged along with the vehicle for some distance, and eventually succumbed to his wounds.

Mallesh's relatives, and other locals, saw this, and put up a chase. In the ensuing chaos, three of the burglars escaped. Aijaz was caught when he lost control of the Innova, and crashed it into a tree.

Home Minister Sabitha Indra Reddy, who visited the scene of crime, met the terrified and angry locals, and assured them that such incidents would not occur again.
