GMR Promises Facilities At Haj Terminal
Special facilities will be provided to the Haj pilgrims and the visitors at the Hyderabad Haj Terminal at the time of the Haj chartered flights.

The GMR Rajiv Gandhi International Airport Authority agreed to provide facilities to the Haj pilgrims and the visitors at the Haj Terminal at the time of the Haj chartered flights.
In a high-level meeting held on Friday in the chambers of the Special Secretary to the Government, Minority Welfare Department, Syed Omer Jaleel, GMR assured to install a conveyor belt, a central air cooling system, a permanent shed for the visitors with separate toilets and prayer halls for ladies and gents, office accommodation for the State Haj committee, space for a clinic for the medical team, a customs area in the terminal, concrete flooring for the outside area, and a taxi stand at the terminal.
A joint inspection will be held on 30th March.
The meeting, presided over by Syed Omer Jaleel, was attended by Prof. S. A. Shukoor, Special Officer of the Telangana State Haj Committee; Manish Sinha, Chief Operating Officer of GMR; G Ramesh Babu, Vice President of GMR Corporate Relations; Yashpal Shah, GMR Terminal Operations; and Bharat Kumar Kamdar, Head Security and Control Officer GMR.
