Fake IT Official Raid Creates Flutter in Hyderabad

Fake IT officials conducted raids in the residence of TPCC working president Revanth Reddy's aide Uday Simha's brother Ranadeer today, creating a furore in Hyderabad.

On Sunday night, about 15 persons conducted raids in Ranadeer's residence and took Rs. 2 lakhs in cash and 8 tolas of gold ornaments.

Ranadeer's brother-in-law said that it all started with there being no communication from Ranadeer for some time, and some time later Ranadeer spoke to him from another phone and said that 15 persons had whisked him away from his residence in Nagole saying that they were from the IT department, and that he didn't know where he was.

On Monday morning Ranadeer's relatives approached the IT officials, but the latter said that they hadn't conducted any raids in Ranadeer's residence. Shocked by the response from the IT officials, Ranadeer's relatives tried to lodge a complaint with the police, but the police officials said that Ranadeer would return in the evening.

Ranadeer's relatives also approached the media saying that they didn't have any relations with Revanth Reddy.
