Chief Minister Revanth Reddy today instructed officials to expedite the land acquisition process for the Regional Ring Road (RRR) at the earliest.
The Chief Minister held a review meeting at the Secretariat with the officials on the RRR, R&B and National Highway projects.
During the meeting, officials were also directed to complete the land acquisition process for the Nagpur-Vijayawada corridor by Sankranthi.
Reddy also urged officials to resolve issues involving the Forest Department immediately. He suggested that the Forest and R&B Departments work in coordination, with a dedicated officer appointed from each department for the purpose.
He also instructed that a joint meeting be held between the two departments to ensure the speedy completion of the land acquisition process.
The Chief Minister also said that every village in Telangana needed to be connected by a BT road to the mandal headquarters. He advised that the roads be designed with sufficient width to accommodate future needs. "No village in Telangana will be left without a road in the future," the CM claimed.
