After the Andhra Pradesh government gave permission to herbal medicine practitioner Anandaiah to distribute his medicines that reportedly help Covid-19 patients some days ago, the formal distribution of the Ayurvedic medicines was launched today.
Sarvepalli MLA Kakani Govardhan Reddy launched the distribution.
Speaking on the occasion, the MLA said that they would distribute the medicine to 2,000 to 3,000 people every day.
He lauded the services rendered by Anandaiah and urged the people to use the Ayurvedic medicine alongside the allopathic medicines.
Reddy clarified that users would not experience any side effects on using Anandaiah's medicines, and said, "Anandaiah has kept his promise by commencing the distribution of the medicines from today. All the Covid-19 patients should use the red packets while those who want to prevent the spread of the disease should take the medicine packaged in blue packets."
He said that the government had extended their support to Anandaiah with the objective of helping the people of the state.
Reddy said that they would distribute the medicines to the people of the other districts of the state over the next couple of days.
While has been allowed to distribute the Covid-19 medicines, the AP government, however, did not give permission to him to distribute the eye drops he has produced. It is waiting for the report of the authorities concerned on the drops.
