CCTV footage that captured the Dilsukhnagar blast suspects has been sent to Mumbai for enhancement. The footage, gathered with respect to the Dilsukhnagar bomb blasts that occured last Thursday, revealed two persons on bicycles with lunch boxes tied to them, and also determined that the men, presumably young, abandoned the bicycles near Venkatadri and Konark theatres a few minutes before the blasts.
The culprits cannot be identified due to lack of clarity, and Hyderabad reportedly does not have the technology required to enhance such low-quality videos.
While the existing evidence points to the hand of the Indian Mujahideen in the blasts, the involvement of other groups cannot be ruled out, say sources form the police.
Meanwhile, 6 Special Investigations Teams apart from the NIA and Octopus are busy looking for clues, and leads are being traced all over the country including Karnataka, Pune, Delhi, Mumbai and Ahmedabad.
Evidence collected from the blast sites have been handed over at the Saroornagar Police Station, and the clues team and the NIA are subjecting every item to stringent scrutiny.
