BJP floor leader Dr K Lakshman on Monday alleged that the TRS Government was indulging in politics rather than ensuring debates on public issues in the State Legislative Assembly.
Speaking to media persons at Assembly media point, Lakshman strongly condemned the attempts by the ruling TRS to encourage defections in the Opposition Parties.
He said that the culture of defections was not in the interests of democracy, and that it should end.
He said that both the government and the Opposition should focus on having discussions on the people's problems rather than waste time on politicking.
CPI MLA R Ravinder Kumar also criticised the TRS Government for encouraging defections in Opposition Parties. (INN)
