The Board of Intermediate Education on Thursday extended the last dates for the payment of examination fees by first year regular, failed (general and vocational) and attendance exempted private candidates who wish to appear for the ensuing Intermediate Public Examinations, March 2013.
According to BIE Secretary Rama Sankar Naik, the last date for the payment of fees without incurring late fees will be November 1 and, with a late fee of Rs. 100, the date will be November 8. These dates are applicable to both general and vocational students, attendance-exempted candidates for humanities only (without college study) and candidates who wish to appear for the ensuing Intermediate Public Examinations, March 2013 with a change of group.
The Board has stated that that there will be no further extensions of examination fee due dates. Candidates who fail to pay the examination fee in time, or with a late fee should invariably apply for the Tatkal scheme, the dates for which will be announced in due course. (INN)
