Danam Nagender A Habitual Renegade: Komatireddy
Congress leader and MLA Komatireddy Venkat Reddy said that shifting loyalties to other political parties for power was not new for Danam.

Senior Telangana Congress leader and MLA Komatireddy Venkat Reddy said that he had expected for long that Danam Nagender would leave the party because he had been in touch with the TRS for the last two years. Danam had also prepared flexes in preparation for joining the TRS two years ago, but had been spurned by KCR then, he claimed.
Speaking to the media on Saturday, Komatireddy said that shifting loyalties to other political parties for power was not new for Danam. He had joined the TDP too earlier, and had returned to the Congress when the latter came to power, to enjoy positions.
It was surprising that Danam was saying that justice was not being done to the BCs in the Congress, Komatireddy said. There was no social justice in the TRS that Danam was joining, with the Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao having deceived the dalits by promising to make a dalit the first Chief Minister of the state but taking up the position himself. He also pointed out to the fact that there was no woman Minister in the TRS government. The Congress party however gave high priority to women and dalits, tribal and BCs, he claimed. He alleged that Danam had quit the party strictly for the loaves and fishes of power, and that it had nothing to do with any love for the BCs.
Finding fault with the TPCC chief N Uttam Kumar Reddy going to Danam's residence to cajole him, Komatireddy said that Danam did not have any stature that warranted such pleading, and asked the party leaders not to consider the issue any more. He exuded confidence that the Congress would come to power in 2019, and said that every leader needed to be brave till then.
