Health Minister D L Ravindra Reddy, on Wednesday, alleged that Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy has not taken the suggestions of the minister in charge of Kadapa district, in the selection of aspirants for the ensuing by-elections.
Talking to media persons, Ravindra Reddy said that the Chief Minister has ignored the advice of senior leaders and district leaders in the selection of candidates for Rajampeta, Rayachoti and Kodur Assembly constituencies.
He said that the Chief Minister had neither consulted him in the selection of aspirants, nor sought his advice.
As the Chief Minister himself had finalized the list of aspirants, he alone would be held responsible for the victory or defeat of candidates in the by-polls, said Ravindra Reddy.
"No one will be held responsible for the victory or defeat of party candidates, and the Chief Minister must own moral responsibility for their fate in the by-elections," he pointed out. (INN)
