The Engineering, Agriculture And Medicine Common Entrance Test (EAMCET) 2012 convenor Prof. N V Ramana Rao, on Sunday, admitted that there were some mistakes in the question paper.
Talking to reporters after releasing the EAMCET key, Ramana Rao said that while there no mistakes in the mathematics and chemistry sections, some discrepancies were found in the physics and botany sections.
Some translation mistakes were found in question numbers 85, 106, 113 of Set A; 96, 106, 119 of Set B; 81, 88, 115 of Set C; and 86, 93, 116 of Set D of the physics section. Similarly, question number 20 of Set A of botany had two answers.
The EAMCET convenor said that candidates can raise questions and objections till 19 May.
The final key for EAMCET would be released on 24 May, after taking into consideration the objections on key from the candidates. The marks and ranks of EAMCET would be announced on 1 June. (INN)
